Flexi hours or working remotely. We need to be surrounded by fabrics and product so it’s impossible!

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF PROFESSIONALLY IN FIVE YEARS’ TIME?

I have launched a styling page ‘Millie Macleod’ I hope this is something that grows and becomes a success, through editorial and personal styling.  I want everyone to feel amazing; there are so many tricks for all shapes and sizes. Personal style can make a huge difference! In my current role, I think personal growth is more important than a job title, I want to be the best at what I do!

DO YOU FEEL YOU CAN BE THE SAME PERSON AT WORK AND IN PRIVATE?

Yes, what you see is what you get at all times!

WHERE AND IN WHAT ROLES ARE WOMEN IN THE LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE AT YOUR COMPANY?

We have a female and male director, and lots of female managers.

DOES DIVERSITY MATTER TO YOU?

Absolutely, it’s very important that gender, race and sexuality are represented at every level in business.

HOW GOOD IS YOUR WORK LIFE BALANCE?

Now very good, but when I was younger I used to work till 10pm! There comes a point where you are unproductive and you need to have fun and relax in the evenings in order to be ready to work again the next day.

WHAT QUALITIES DOES BEING IN YOUR ROLE NECESSITATE?

Being a good people person, tough when required, a visual person and most importantly having a sense of humour!
