Personal Trainer and owner of my own business Trained by Eleanor.
WHAT DO YOU DO ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS?
Train clients and all my own marketing, media and accounts!
WHAT DID YOU WANT TO DO WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD?
I think I wanted to be a nurse or a vet – I’ve always been a helper! When fitness became my passion it took me a while to process the fact that I could use it to help people.
WHAT ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
All the way up to my degree (BA Hons) then my fitness professional diploma. I also have master training in nutrition and am a qualified spinning instructor.
WHAT’S THE BEST CAREER ADVICE YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
Be pro-active, not re-active – I make lists, I keep things in order, I don’t do anything on the hop or wait for opportunities to fall into my lap.
WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL AND WHY?
I have so many! My family, who all have an amazing work ethic. My fiancé, for his incredible attitude towards life. My friends, for all the hurdles they’ve overcome and the inspiring way they’ve dealt with them.

The dedication to health and fitness I see every hour of every day is so inspiring, it’s almost like a drug. I love supporting my clients but I also love what they give me in return!

I really feel the cold, so warmer weather would be delightful!
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF PROFESSIONALLY IN FIVE YEARS’ TIME?
Still doing what I do, maybe with my own venue or even a sub-business involving a few more trainers. But to be honest if nothing changed, I’d be happy.
DO YOU FEEL YOU CAN BE THE SAME PERSON AT WORK AND IN PRIVATE?
Absolutely. I have a good relationship with my clients. Although I suppose they get a slightly more assertive, bossy version of me than my friends and family do!

Positivity, energy, passion and compassion. And you MUST be a morning person!
